CRC 1182 End of Year-Meeting

The CRC 1182 members recently were invited to an End of Year-get together at restaurant Budenzauber in Kiel to reflect upon an eventful year 2022 and to plan for the upcoming renewal application for the next funding phase of the centre.

The design team from the Science Communication Lab used the opportunity to present results from their sub-project in public outreach in the current 2nd phase of the CRC: The web-based learning app Meet the Metaorganism, that explains and visualises the interactions of host organisms and symbiotic microorganism, was officially launched at the meeting. This collaborative model project for digital teaching between CRC 1182, Science Communication Lab and IPN will initially be used in the training of biology students at Kiel University.
