CRC 1182 / KAUST Workshop “Metaorganisms in Extreme Environments”, Kiel
It is a pleasure to invite all CRC 1182 members to participate in the Workshop “Metaorganisms in Extreme Environments” to be held at Kiel University, Germany in March 28-30 2017.
The workshop will bring together researchers from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and the Collaborative Research Centre 1182 at Kiel University using plant and animal model systems to gain insight into the cellular and genomic events underpinning the origin and evolution of metaorganism diversity and complexity in extreme environments. The goal of the workshop is to learn about cutting-edge research done at KAUST and the CRC 1182 and to provide a forum for future networks and collaborations.
The workshop will be quite intimate – with a maximum number of 40 participants. Contributions to the meeting may be in the form of talks, mainly on new or unpublished findings.
