SymbNET Career Development Event for PhD Students (online)
Event overview:
An online event where PhD students will meet two Group Leaders at different stages of their careers and have the opportunity to discuss with them topics such as:
- the paths that led them to their current positions;
- how they achieved their career goals;
- how to decide on which post-doc to do after a PhD and how this decision may define the transition to PI level;
- the soft skills needed to be a successful PI and the importance of starting to invest in developing and exercising those ahead of time.
