John Baines: Z3 Microbiome sequencing workshop: Updates on dealing with low biomass samples (online)

There are currently important recommendations for the preparation of samples for microbial analysis (especially 16S amplicon sequencing). These have to do with the increased occurrence of contaminants at low DNA concentrations or generally low bacterial abundance in the samples. The recommendations refer to 1-2 recent publications.
